Am 25.Mai 2019 hat uns eine kleine aber feine Abordnung beim Tag der offenen Tür in der Radetzky-Kaserne Horn vertreten.
Mit von der Partie waren Karl OE3KNU, Christian OE3CQB, Garry OE3WGU und Martin OE3EMC.
Am Vormittag kam sie noch Carina OE3YCC mit Philipp und Daniel sowie Thomas OE3VID besuchen.
Das Wetter war bestens und es haben sich immer wieder sehr interessante Gespräche mit den Besuchern ergeben.
Garry, Karl und Christian präsentierten ihre Notfunkkoffer und informierten über den Not- und Katastrophenfunk.
Christian hat sogar extra eine Langdrahtantenne aufgebaut um auf 80m Datenaktivität über WINLINK mit VARA zu demonstrieren. Danke auch nochmal an Franz OE3FQU für seine Unterstützung!!!
Weiters gab es Vorführungen auf KW, UKW und DMR Digitalfunk mit den eigens mitgebrachten Geräten unserer OM’s. Es konnten so einige QSO’s auf KW und DMR getätigt werden und die Besucher bekamen einen Eindruck wie das ganze so abläuft.
Martin OE3EMC scheute sogar keine Mühen und hat sein Portabel Satelliten Funk Equipment für den QO-100 mitgenommen.
Sendeseitig bestand es aus einem ICOM IC706, einem Kuhne Transverter 144 auf 2,4 GHz und einer W-LAN Antenne. Empfangsseitig verwendete Martin einen 65cm Parabolspiegel, LNB 10 GHz auf 1,2 GHz und einen SDR Radio an einem PC.
